Frognerpark

Oslo, 9th - 12th of December 2001.

This information has been inspired by Amanda to be put on this site so quickly, as she asked recently: Have you been to Norway? Well, funny enough Amanda, I went as this section of my site describes to Norway last year. I hope it will help you deside whether you would like to go or not and that other people will find it inspiring too.

Sunday 9th of December.

We went on the boat from Copenhagen there over night. It departs the Copenhagen harbour at 5pm every day exactly. It is a very relaxing trip with beautiful views and fastfood. The cabins are very nice.

Monday 10th of December.

We sailed into the harbour in Oslo at 9am. After finding our hotel, we went to see the King's Castle and the on to see the Vigeland Park, which is inside Frogner Park. It is a sculpture park made by the Norwegian artist Vigeland. I was so impressed by this artist's sculpture I think you all should see it.

Tuesday 11th of December.

Went to see the Edward Munch museum. An amazing collection of his work, really worth the visit. Personal drawings made by Vibeke Olsen: The Dance of Life, The Scream.

Wednesday 12th of December.

Arrived back in Copenhagen harbour, Denmark at 9am. ready to go to work.
